After the Covid-enforced break, we prepared the 3rd annual Data Management professional event.
“The health of your data” – the cleanliness, quality and truthfulness of data, new trends in data care, and options to use Talend platform tools were main topics at the professional conference at the welcoming AC Hotel by Marriott Bratislava Old Town.
The event was opened by the company’s commercial director, Dušan Franců.
NHe started by welcoming representatives of companies and public administration organizations, and from Talend Natalia Halicka, Olaf Marx, and Steffen Bischoff.
Our product manager Romana Lajdová began by presenting current and future IT trends.
In their presentations, Talend colleagues underlined the importance of healthy data for correct business decisions, and options for data processing and security in Talend Cloud. During the conference, the presenters also covered the strategic direction of the Talend product portfolio, and options for deploying fast data-secure integration solutions in cloud solutions. The presentations included a contribution from the data curator of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Petr Stropek, who spoke about data quality in public administration organizations. Through case studies he highlighted practical models for setting data quality in public administration organizations, presented experiences with using data quality tools in such organizations, and considered the role of data curators at various organizations.
We’re sure that all participants took away new themes and ideas for their work, and established friendly relations that will lead to future cooperation.
